We had sunny days and the weather was very hot. We recommend it.

Crystal Turquoise Waters
In 2005, in my third year of college, I went to a beautiful spot ,in northern Guatemala, I had heard about the crystal turquoise waters located in the department of Alta Verapaz and the waters of the river Cahabon, a place named SEMUC CHAMPEY.
In that place, one of the wonders of my country, I shared with my friends and looked closely at the nature.
That place has been sculpted by water that form pools, something interesting was to see the entrance to an underground river (the river Cahabon is divided into two, one part remains on the surface and the other enters a hole of about 4 mts.
That was my trip in Semuc and has been the best in my life.

Atomium Brussels
I visited Atomiun Brussels, it's an amazing place , this monument was created in 1958 in the Atomic Industry, I think that t'sis the most interesting place for the people who work and study Chemistry . You can visit it in an escalator , and it has a Restaurant in one Sphere . When we stayed at the top of the Atomic and there is good weather you can see All Brussels from there. It weighs 2400 tonnes and 102 meters high. I was amazed of how big it was . How small everything was compered to Atomiun.

The Great Pyramid of Giza
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest of the seven wonders of the world and the only one that still exists, aside from being the largest of the pyramids, it was built under the order of the pharaoh of the fourth dynasty of Ancient Egypt Khufu. The architect of this work was Hemiunu.
The estimated date of completion of construction of the Great Pyramid is about 2570 a. C., the first and largest of the three great pyramids of Giza Necropolis, on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. It was the tallest building until the fourteenth century being overtaken by the spire of Lincoln Cathedral, England and the highest stone building in the world well into the nineteenth century, then being overcome by the needle St. Nikolai Church in Hamburg.

When I was on the top off the tries, I had the most amazing moment, I saw the lake and the Town and when I finished the Canopy trip we went walking on the hanging bridge. Amazingly it was really exciting and it was bigger than I thought. So maybe I will go back with my friends.

The Cathedral in Guatemala's Central Park
This is the most visited church in Guatemala by people all around the world.
It's located in zone 1 in front of Central Park. It was built between 1782 y 1815
I've been there a lot of times, in different activities like weddings or mass anniversaries.
This church is a colonial building, inside the church, people can see several interesting and valuable religious images.
In holidays the church is decorated with colored curtains, depending on the celebration. For example, in Holy Week the curtains are purple and it looks beautiful.
Atitlan Lake
I`ve been in Atitlán Lake a few times. Three years ago, I went with my co-workers and we had a lot of fun. I remember that we had breakfast in the most beautiful restaurant on the way there.
We went around the lake in a boat, I saw little towns around the lake like Panajachel,San Pedro la Laguna,Santa Cruz la Laguna, It was amazing.
This lake is very long, it's 18 kilometers long and 350 meters deep
This lake is one of the most visited places in Guatemala City, and it's located in Solola.
I've been in Panajachel, one of the towns in Solola, some people call it Pana, it's the right place of a good party at night , I've never been there at night but I'd like it.
A City with history and beauty
Last December my friends and I decided to take a trip to Peten, I had never been there before; we took a bus and the traip was a little tiring but it was worth it.
We went to Tikal Park and we walked around, I was really amazed with the beauty of the place, the constructions, the flora and fauna. I am afraid of heights but I took the decision to climb some ruins, It was the best decision! because the view is amazing, it is one of the most exciting experiences I have ever had.
An elephant in the lake!!
In our last vacation, my family and I went to Atitlan Lake in Guatemala, my father has always loved this place, because of the weather, so we have always chosen Panajachel since almost fifteen years ago, That Saturday of the week, we took a boat from Panajachel to Santiago Atitlan, we bought some souvenirs and walked around; when we were returning to Panajachel in the boat, someone was talking about an elephant but I didn't see any elephant there, when I turned my head in the other direction, I saw an elephant in the middle of the lake!, in the middle of the lake you ask?? Yes, there is a big mountain that looks like a big elephant. In all the years that I've gone to Atitlan I never saw the elephant.
The mountain has always been there but I never gave it a second look until that day.

Natural Wonders
Hi classmates. I was born in Guatemala City, I've visited some absolutely wonderful places in Guatemala and one of them is “Todos Santos Cuchumatan”, located in Huehuetenango, I’ve worked there, I’ve taken advantage to visit the church, the mountains, some old houses and typical restaurants, I know the house where Jose Ernesto Monzón was born, I’ve met very polite people and I’ve seen really spectacular nights.
If you are planning to go on vacations, I recommend you visit “Todos Santos Cuchumatan”, mainly from November to March.

San Marcos
A couple of years ago I went to San Marcos with a couple of friends. We went to the beach early in the morning and we saw the most incredible sunrise. After that we decided to swim in the most beautiful beach that I have ever seen. Unfortunately a few hours later I almost drowned, fortunately my friends saved me. It has been the worst experience that I have ever had, then we played volley ball and we finished the day watching the most beautiful sunset that I have ever seen. It was the best trip that I ever had.

Atitlan lake
In Guatemala there is an amazing place called Atitlán, this place has such beautiful landscapes, for example, the beautiful villages around the lake, their names are those of the twelve apostles, are colorful and have a special ethnic touch.
Volcanoes
Surprisingly there are three volcanoes, Atitlan volcano is the highest and from its top you can see the whole landscape, incredibly beautiful, you can see in the afternoon the wind called Xocomil, as if they were strokes of a painter, it's simply the best landscape I've seen in my life.
Lake
Lake Atitlan is the most beautiful in the world because it is surrounded by mountains, experts say millions of years ago a huge explosion occurred and formed the volcanoes and lake.
It's the perfect place to go with your spouse and have a romantic moment.
For me, Lake Atitlan and its volcanoes are the best creation of God in the world.
