Minnesota Cup 1991

In 1991.  I went to Minnessota to play soccer with a team of friends.   We were representing Guatemala and our families paid for everything.

We played against other countries.  It was a nice experiencie.  In Minnessota we stayed in some houses of families from Minneapolis,  They were very kind people.

I like Minneapolis. It was a beautiful and quiet place.  For the tournament there were a lot of soccer fields to play in.

I'm not sure, but for the tournamente they had one soccer field por every letter of the alphabet.

Roller Coaster "My Best Experience"

In 2010 I went to Orlando with my family.  It was the first time that I boarded an airplane.  Our first advernture was when we arrived because it was a big airport and there were a lot of people.

The next day we went to Sea World, it was amazing!! I really enjoyed it.  The most enjoyable experience was to ride a rolller coaster.  

Hoping to have another experience like the one I had.

MY TRIP TO FLORIDA

In december 2006 I went to Florida with my sisters Jenniffer and Priscilla to visit our relatives.

We hadn't been in The United States before. When we arrived there we were very surprised about how clean, big and organized this country is when you compare it to here. The same night that we arrived we went to a Cuban Restaurant and guess what?.. We had never eaten Cuban food. but the food was really good.

About Two days later we went to Orlando. When we got there we were so exited because we could finally visit Disney and Universal Studios. We spent about three days visiting the parks but that wasn't enough because the parks were really big. When we got on the road to return home we took Tampa's road to visit Busch  Gardens and we rode some games and stuff. Then 2 days later we had to get back to Guatemala.

My story in "Antigua Guatemala"

Last year, I went with my family to "La Antigua" (that's how people call it) to spend our New Year's vacations. We walked in La Antigua to meet  see places and ate in different restaurants. We had breakfast in the Hotel named La Posadita de Don Rodrigo, they serve typical food. The food was delicious. At lunch we ate at a restaurant that had a beautiful, big garden. There we had some gourmet sandwiches which were very good. In the afternoon we walked and had dinner at a restaurant called "Opera". We drank coffee and delicious cakes while listening to live music. They have delicious desserts and lunch dishes. I never thought that I would  like this place but after I ate there I loved it.  Then we walked in the park. We bought some things in the park. My family and I went to the hotel to rest, because in the night we had to go to see the fireworks in the Central Park of La Antigua. It was awesome! I liked it soo much! I loved to celebrate  New Year in La Antigua.  It was a different experience. All the people felt happy to celebrate New Year. Everybody was walking and laughing with friends and family. I will never forget the good time I had there.

AMATIQUE BAY - GUATEMALA, PUERTO BARRIOS

Last year, I visited Amatique Bay, I took some vacations, fortunatelly it was summer. I went with my family. It was the most exciting experience.

We walked around the beach and saw some ruines.

Amatique Bay is also an all-inclusive resort and marina, partially owned by the Clarion Suites Hotel chain, and private investors. It is located on the eastern coast of Guatemala, only a few minutes boat ride from the southern Keys of Belize.

To get there: When driving to Puerto Barrios, make a right and travel the main road until you get to 14th Avenue and then make another right. Take 14th Avenue until the road ends (about half an hour drive). At the end of the road you'll drive into the main entrance of Amatique Bay.

Natural Wonders "Atitlan Lake in Guatemala"

One of the most beautiful expreriences I´ve had in my lifeis to being in  Atitlan Lake, my opinion is that this is one of the mosy beautiful and peaceful places in the world, and at dusk you can see the most beautiful sunsets. This is a place where you can really have direct contact with nature. You can meet beautiful people who are very hospitable with the tourists. For me Atitlan is the most peaceful place in the world.

The most amazing trip that I have ever had!!!

Hi everybody. I`ll try to explain about my las trip to Argentina. Argentina it`s a beatiful place, big and it's also a country with friendly people, the argentinan people were very friendly and they made my visit so confortable. My trip to the Iguazu waterfall was so exciting because it was the first time to travel in a boat in "wild waters" and the view was beautiful.  I recommend the whole trip, if you want to feel the water in your face you need to see the Garganta del diablo ( Devil`s Troath) When I went to those waterfalls, I put my digital camera in a plastic bag and the guide told me "hurry up, you can take photos now" when we stopped near of the waterfall.

I`ve heard that Niagara Falls are the same and I hope some day I can bee there too.

The best experience...

My best vacations was with my best friend Kasha. We were 19 years old, I'm never going to forget that year because it was the best of my life... anyway, we went to a couple of places, I'd never been in any of them. And being with my friend was the best!!

I remember that this holy week was very exhausting because we went to Retalhuleu and Panajachel. We went on Monday and we came back on Wesdnesday in the morning. It was very fun, I just got home, I changed my clothes and went out again..... We were ready again for the beach..





When we came back on Monday my mom was very angry, 'cause I never told her to where i went. :(

My trip to Panama by Pablo David Cheguen Barillas

3 years ago I went to Panama and I really enjoyed it because it's a nice country, the weather was a little bit hot but I felt confortable using the a/c. First I went to Chiriqui, it's a little town near Santiago, Panama and I tried the strawberries from Chiriqui they were really good! Then I went to Panama city, when I was there I liked everything there because there are a lot of big buildings! After that my family came and we went to my dad's friend house and we stayed there the second day, the next day we visited the beach and we saw a lot of beautiful boats and I came back to the house and  made some friends there. We played soccer and  then we watched a scary movie, it was really cool because everyone was afraid except me. The next day  we went to the Panama canal  and finally we came back to Guatemala...

Have your ever been in Paradise?

Five years ago, a went de the Acatenango Volcano with my childhood's best friends. We are the best friends in the world. I remember that our first trip to a volcano was when we were children, we were like 8 years old. We went to the Water Volcano in Sacatepequez, and it was a wonderful trip. We were so excited that we returned again and again, so we made a conection with the nature of the volcanos. Until we knew the Acatenango Volcano, a paradise in earth. It's divide in four parts to climb: 1. The "Hollow tree", 2. The "Little Rabbit", 3. "The Rabbit" and 4. "The three Marias".
The first part is a desert, with lots of dust until you get to the hollow tree. When you arrive to this point the jungle starts with a lot of trees of diferent kinds, you have to walk like 2 hours to arrive to The little rabbit. It's a place to rest and eat something, until this point your hands begin to freeze, you have to put on your gloves, a sweater and you have to start climbing to get warm. Until the rabbit, another place to rest and eat, you have to walk two more hours, ant then when you see no more trees, you know that the difficult part has started. The icy wind in your cheeks, in your hands,  all your body, you have to trust yourself, but if you have trust and faith you can do it. The prize is when you arrive to the top, the beatiful and incredible view! there is no other view like this en the world. And if you are with your best friends, you know that you are in Paradise.
